The town name used in a web search such as locksmith Winsted, Torrington, Barkhamsted, ETC, CT. may reveal a lot of these listings. Smart consumers know that serving means that they are somewhere else and not local.
Always check for actual address when dealing with a locksmith. Some businesses are not from the listed location and sometimes a bogus street or address is used. A locksmith registration is needed to operate legally in the State of Connecticut, ask for that number when you call and review it when they arrive. We always present our credentials on arrival. Your policy should be no registration no work.
